This small town was developed during the early nineteenth century on the site of an ancient pictish fort. It is situated on a promontory jutting into the Moray Firth, five miles of sandy beach stretch westwards towards Findhorn,with access from Burghead itself and from the picnic site at Roseisle.
The caravan park faces directly on the beach and is surrounded at the rear by woodland,ideal for scenic walks.The small town of Elgin is just a short drive away where you will find a cinema,swimming pool,ten pin bowling and numerous shops. A number of golf courses and visitors attractions are in the surrounding area. The best of all worlds await you at Burghead Beach.
